Flights are delayed at Reagan National Airport after a disabled aircraft disrupted air traffic Saturday afternoon, officials said.
Two of the airport’s three main runways are closed after an American Airlines flight from Memphis operated by Republic Airways lost pressure on its tires after landing around 4 p.m., airport officials said.
No one was injured in the incident, but the aircraft has stopped on the runway, officials said. Crews are working to transport passengers from the plane to the main terminal at the airport.
Airport officials asked travelers to check with their airlines for the latest information on their flight status.
